Statements into Questions
With the technique Statements into Questions, you focus on turning specific statements into open questions. This might include in relation to explanations or instructions.
For example:
Instead of saying, ‘First we do this…’, you ask, ‘What should we do first?’
Instead of saying, ‘We do this because…’, you ask, ‘Why do you think we do this?’
Instead of saying, ‘This is important…’, you ask, ‘Why do you think this is important?’
